Are there any fees not shown in the pricing table?

No — for straightforward apostille orders, the price you see is the price you pay. The FCDO fee and VAT are both included in our prices.

The only additional cost is return delivery, which you select at checkout. For more complex cases — such as business and embassy attestation for certain countries, or documents requiring multiple stages of legalisation — we’ll confirm the full cost before you commit to anything.

Does the FCDO charge a separate fee on top of your price?

No. The FCDO fee is always included in our total price. So is VAT. There are no government surcharges added at checkout.

If the FCDO rejects my document, do I have to pay again?

No. We check every document before submission and maintain an up-to-date database of FCDO-registered signatories to minimise the risk of rejection — which is why our rejection rate is below 1%.

In the rare event of a rejection, we resubmit at no extra cost. That’s included in what you’ve already paid.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. If we are unable to process your apostille before submission for any reason, we’ll refund your order in full.

Once documents have been submitted to the FCDO or an embassy, refunds cannot be issued as third-party costs have already been incurred.

What if I ordered the wrong service — can I change after paying?

Yes — you can upgrade or downgrade your service after paying, as long as your documents haven’t already been submitted to the FCDO or embassy.

Does the price go down if I send several documents at once?

Yes. We offer volume pricing for orders of five or more documents. Business partners who place regular orders also have access to preferential rates. Contact us for a bulk quote before you order.

Can I mix service speeds in a single order?

Yes. If you need some documents processed urgently and others can wait, we can split your order across service tiers. Just let us know when you place your order or contact us to arrange it.

Do I pay one delivery fee or one per document?

One delivery fee per order, regardless of how many documents are included. You choose your preferred return delivery option at checkout.

Can I pay by invoice — I'm ordering on behalf of a company?

Yes. We accept invoice payment for business orders and work with a large number of regular business partners — including law firms, HR departments, relocation agencies, and corporate clients — who receive preferential pricing based on order volume.

Why are some online apostille services cheaper than yours?

A few reasons — and it’s worth understanding them before you choose. Some cheaper services operate without a physical London office, meaning your documents are handled remotely or through a postal-only model.

Others don’t offer free resubmissions or have limited expertise with complex document types. Perhaps most importantly, prices that look low at first often aren’t by the time you reach checkout — extras are added for services we include as standard, such as the FCDO fee, VAT, scanning and document checks.

Some operators also run multiple websites under different names, giving the appearance of choice when you’re dealing with the same back-office all along.
