Processing times

Expect a 2 business day turnaround for standard apostille services in Milton Keynes, while the express next-day apostille service typically completes within 24 hours.

The attestation process via the London and Arab Chambers alone usually takes about 3-4 working days.

Business documents

After getting the FCDO Apostille, commercial documents may still need the endorsement by both the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) before they can be given to the local authorities in Saudi Arabia.

The local authority that requested the documents should confirm this, as it might change depending on the purpose of the documents in Saudi Arabia.

UK educational documents

Educational documents no longer need legalisation from the Saudi Arabian Consulate but may still require authentication by the new Qualification Verification Programme (QVP).

If so, this needs to be completed before getting the FCDO Apostille. The Qualification Verification Program (QVP) process can only be completed online through https://qvp.pacc.sa.
