Flag of IranIran is not a party to the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention, so a UK FCDO apostille is the first step.

After the apostille (or, for some trade papers, a London Chamber of Commerce stamp), every document must undergo final legalisation by the Islamic Republic of Iran Consulate in London.

  • 1

UK FCDO apostille (after any required notarial certification).

  • 2
Consular legalisation at the Iranian Consulate in London.

We are an FCDO-registered legalisation agent. Once your documents reach our London office, we can manage the full chain: checks → certification (if needed) → apostille → Embassy legalisation → return delivery.

  • 1
Certify (if needed)—have a UK FCDO-registered solicitor or notary public certify the document, if the document is not already a UK public record.
