  • POAs must be submitted in person with the applicant’s Passport; they can no longer be submitted via an agent.
  • Translations: English is accepted for most commercial filings; courts may ask for a sworn Persian translation, which can be obtained after the consular stamp.

  • Legalisation hours: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon Tuesdays and Thursdays only.

  • Method of payment: Bank transfer only. (no other payment methods accepted)

No. The Consulate states that commercial documents should be certified by the local Chamber of Commerce and that those documents do not require Foreign Office certification. We run the correct route depending on what the Consulate will accept for your document type.
