Requirements for re-processing (in case of rejection by a foreign authority)
In the unlikely event that a foreign authority rejects a document we legalise, we are committed to working with you to resolve the issue. To ensure a swift resolution, we kindly request the following:
- Feedback from the foreign authority: Please provide any feedback or contact information from the relevant authority regarding the rejection of your documents. This could include specific reasons for rejection, required corrections, or contact details of the responsible official. This information is crucial for us to understand the issue and take appropriate action to rectify it promptly.
With your cooperation, we will work diligently to address any concerns raised by the foreign authority.
Restrictions
Please note that our guarantee applies only when:
- Correct document: You have submitted the correct document to us for processing.
- Recipient requirements: You are responsible for confirming the specific requirements of the organisation or individual receiving your document.
Important note regarding processing times
While we strive to provide the fastest service possible, please be aware that apostille processing times can occasionally be affected by factors outside our control. These may include:
- Unforeseen delays at the FCDO or Consulate/Embassy: While rare, processing times may occasionally be impacted by unexpected events such as public transport disruptions, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Document-specific requirements: Some documents may require additional verification steps with UK public officials or departments, which can occasionally extend processing times.
- Other potential delays: Factors such as unexpected closures, technical issues, or variations in legalisation requirements may also impact processing timeframes.
We understand the importance of timely processing and will always inform you of potential delays. We also offer expedited service options for urgent needs.
* Additional information
To ensure smooth processing, please note that original documents signed/stamped/sealed by UK public department officials can only be apostilled by the FCDO if the UK public official’s specimen signature or seal is registered on the FCDO database.
Your satisfaction is our priority.
We are confident in our service and are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
